The course itself is not bad. The way the course is managed is where the problem comes in. The course scheduled tee times during twilight with an eight person scramble tournament in front of players which is ridiculous. I am also not a fan of having to play in groups of five. They act like they are doing someone a great favor to make groups of 5 when in reality they are slowing down play and pissing people off. Case in point, at the turn two of the five players were tired and wanted to go into the clubhouse for 10 - 15 minutes and cool off (the ladies were in their early 70's understandable) the 3 others (men 29-34) wanted to keep playing and finish under 6 hours. Marshall comes out and makes the 3 guys wait and says we will "slow down play" if we don't wait. Makes no sense. I know they have rules, but please don't throw common sense out the window. Bottom line unless you have 6 hours to play and don't mind them making your foursome a fivesome with the addition of someone who will need to tee off from a different tee box then the course is fine.

Not especially challenging for the experienced player, but well worth the money. Patron card holders who live in Overland Park play for $30 on weekends, including the cart. Cost of a patrons card is $45 annually. Geen fees without a patron card are $41 including cart, and still a value at that price.
